Project Architect

The Studio:

Weaver Architects is a fast growing architecture and interior design firm located in the shadow of the Great Wheel on Seattle’s Waterfront Pier 55. We are seeking fun loving, enthusiastic and self-starting individuals looking to work on exciting projects in a great atmosphere with energetic and like-minded professionals.

We offer excellent opportunities for the career minded seeking to fulfill their design and professional goals!

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly on a variety of architectural interior and renovation projects ranging from 10,000 square feet to 75,000 square feet.
  • Participate in conceptual, schematic and design development phases of projects.
  • General understanding of project budgets and schedules.
  • Building Code knowledge
  • Lead client meetings and design presentations.
  • Create details unique to the design of the project.
  • Oversee the preparation of quality documents for permit and construction.
  • Coordination with outside consultants such as lighting, mechanical, electrical and structural engineers.
  • Maintain good client relationships through attentive and result-oriented service.
  • Actively participate in construction administration.

Qualifications:

  • Eight to ten years’ experience on commercial design projects.
  • Bachelor of Architecture or Masters of Architecture.
  • Technical proficiency in development of details and project drawing assembly.
  • Ability to manage multiple staff members for project delivery as required.
  • Proficiency in AutoCad, Microsoft Project and Sketchup. Working knowledge of Revit a plus.
  • Good presentation skills – verbally and graphically.

Interiors Project Manager

The Studio 

Weaver Architects is a fast growing commercial architecture and interior design firm located in the shadow of the Great Wheel on Seattle's Waterfront Pier 55. We are seeking qualified fun loving, enthusiastic and self-starting individuals looking to work on exciting projects in a great atmosphere with energetic and like-minded professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with both Weaver and client firm principles on a variety of architectural interior and renovation projects;
  • Guide all design phases of projects;
  • Oversee finish selections and interface with product vendor representatives;
  • Lead compelling client meetings and design presentations;
  • Collaborate on and oversee a team to produce quality permit and construction documents;

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor of Architecture or four year interior design degree;
  • Five to eight years' experience in commercial interior design;
  • Commercial Office interior Space Planning experience;
  • Proficiency in AutoCad, Sketchup, Photoshop and InDesign, Knowledge of Revit;
  • Good Verbal and Graphic Presentation Skills (must be apparent from resume);

Intern Architect

The Studio

We are seeking qualified fun loving, enthusiastic and self-starting individuals looking to work on exciting projects in a great atmosphere with energetic and like-minded professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Be willing to learn/absorb local building codes.
  • Work directly on a variety of architectural interior and renovation projects ranging from 10,000 square feet to 75,000 square feet, with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborate in conceptual, schematic and design development phases of projects.
  • Participate in and support project teams that include interior designers and architect Project Managers.
  • Within project teams, assist in creating imagery and graphics that represent design at various stages of development.
  • Actively participate in client meetings and design presentations to grasp client needs and desires.
  • Participate on all stages of a project up to and including construction administration and final punch.
  • Work with outside consultants such as lighting, mechanical, electrical and structural engineers.

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Architecture or Masters of Architecture;
  • Three to five years' experience in commercial interior design;
  • Proficiency in AutoCad, and Sketchup; Knowledge of Revit a plus;
